    South Oldham and North Oldham boys cross country and South Oldham girls cross country competed in the Trinity Valkyrie Invitational at Tom Sawyer Park Saturday Sept. 15 while Oldham County boys and girls cross country and North Oldham girls cross country competed in the Franklin County Invitational at Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington.

  • Dragons win Oldham County Golf...

    The typically pressure-packed Ryder-Cup styled golf tournament held true to form, but a new victor emerged.

    South Oldham boys golf won the Oldham County Cup Thursday Sept. 13 for the first time since 2007. With the tournament going down to the final pairing on the final hole, the Dragons finished with 8.5 points while Oldham County had 8 points and North Oldham earning 7.5.

  • Colonel football bashes Seneca

    Oldham County football improved to 4-0 with a 65-6 victory over Seneca Friday Sept. 14 in Buckner. The Colonels had 380 yards of total offense while the visiting Redhawks finished with 111 yards of total offense. 

  • Dragon football blasts Boone Co.

    A pair of juniors combined for seven touchdowns as South Oldham football had little trouble with Boone County, dispatching the visitors 56-21 Friday Sept. 14 in Crestwood. Keaton Martin finished with four rushing touchdowns while JT Benson returned two kick offs for touchdowns as the Dragons extended their winning streak to three.

    South Oldham girls soccer stretched its winning streak to five games with a 6-0 victory over North Bullitt Thursday Sept. 13 in Crestwood. Virginia Goins scored twice while Hannah Longstreet, Clara Spurlock, Alexis Kronenthal and Lizzie Klehr each had a goal.

  • Girls Soccer: Oldham outlasts...

    Behind three goals by Tristan Whalen, Oldham County girls soccer earned its first victory of the season with a 3-2 win over North Oldham Wednesday Sept. 12 in Goshen.

  • Dragon soccer shuts out Colonels

    A disciplined defense led South Oldham boys soccer to a 3-0 victory over Oldham County Tuesday Sept. 11 in Crestwood, the Dragons first win over the Colonels in the regular season since 2014. Asher Borgman scored two goals and Josh Weller added another as the Dragons snapped Oldham County’s seven-game regular season winning streak against District 29 opponents.

  • Colonel football defeats Collins

    Oldham County football defeated Collins 31-14 Friday Sept. 7. Parker Caudill 8 of 12 passes for 118 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 64 yards. Jacob Ratliff had 64 receiving yards and a touchdown along with eight tackles. Juan Tapia had 73 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

  • Lady Dragon field hockey tops St...

    South Oldham field hockey improved its record to 10-1 with a 5-0 victory over St. Francis Saturday Sept. 9 in Crestwood. Anna Crump scored two goals while Peyton Koenig, Maya Guinn and Sarah McDowell each scored once for the Lady Dragons.

    Coach Penny Periard said Crump and midfielder Abby Periard were able to distribute the ball, allowing South Oldham to score.
