    GOSHEN – The North Oldham High School Lady Mustangs tennis team has opened the season with five straight dual match wins in their quest for a fourth straight Eighth Region championship.

    The Lady Mustangs, who finished tied for fourth in the state championships last year, defeated South Oldham 4-1 last Thursday and followed that win up with a decisive 5-0 win over Fern Creek on Monday.

        BUCKNER – It was just an Oldham County hat, but to Matt Brown it immediately became a treasured possession.

        “It feels really good to get one of these handed to me,” Brown said after OCHS athletic director Matt Watkins handed him the blue and white cap with OC inscribed on it. “This job probably means more to me than anyone else.”

        Brown was introduced as the new head football coach at OCHS Friday, meeting with his new team in the library.
