  • Softball: Oldham rallies by South

     Oldham County softball defeated South Oldham 7-2 in a weather-shortened game in Buckner April 25.

    Taylor Jackson and Elana Ornelas each hit home runs for Oldham County. Kalee Rose pitched five and 1/3 innings and allowed two runs to earn the win.

    Keirstin Kennedy went 2 for 3 with an RBI while Shayla Reid hit a home run for South Oldham.

  • Boys Lacrosse: Dragons romp...

    A torrential rainstorm and gusting winds didn’t put a damper on senior night for South Oldham boys lacrosse.

    The Dragons celebrated the careers of six seniors and defeated Atherton 13-1 Friday, April 19 in Crestwood. Luke Vazzana finished with two goals and an assist. Kyler Bennett and Andrew Campbell each scored two goals as 10 different Dragons scored.

    Oldham County earned another point as Kaylee Jarrett defeated Allie Hargrove 6-4, 6-3 in the second singles match.

    Lincoln Price pitched six innings, allowing five hits and two runs while striking out seven. JT Benson went 3 for 4 with three RBIs, including two home runs. Cam Revolt went 3 for 4 with two runs scored.

    Faith Boa scored two goals while Abby Francis and Lauren Mullins each added a goal for Oldham County. Hailey Crittenden finished with two goals for South Oldham.
