    North Oldham boys soccer defeated Oldham County 1-0 in Goshen Sept. 3. Drake Pyle scored the only goal on a penalty kick in the first half as the Colonels were shut out for the first time this season.

    Oldham County football continued its winning streak against a cross-county rival. The Colonels defeated North Oldham 58-14 in Buckner Aug. 30 for their fourth straight victory over the Mustangs. The Colonels scored a touchdown on all nine possessions.

  • Dragon football thrashes Eastern

    South Oldham football defeated Eastern 49-7 for its first win of the season. With a 36-point halftime lead, the Dragons played the entirety of the second half with a mercy-rule running clock.

    Oldham County and North Oldham cross country teams competed in the Central Kentucky Run for the Gold meet Aug. 31 in Elizabethtown.


  • North volleyball sweeps South

    North Oldham volleyball defeated South Oldham in straight sets (25-14, 25-20, 25-11) in Crestwood Sept. 17.

    North Oldham won six of the first eight points in the opening set capped by an ace from Madi Hartman. Brie Postema had a block to give the Lady Mustangs a 10-4 advantage, forcing South Oldham to call a timeout.

  • Ballard field hockey edges South

    A stifling defensive performance led Ballard field hockey to a 2-0 victory over South Oldham in Crestwood Sept. 16. The Lady Dragons were shut out for the third time this season as the visitors didn't allow many clean shots.

  • Colonel football to Manual

    Manual football defeated Oldham County 41-14 in Louisville Sept. 14 as six different players scored touchdowns for the Crimsons.

    Sam Young completed 15 of 25 for 126 yards and touchdown. Juan Tapia rushed for 88 for the Colonels. Bryce Rochet had a team-high eight tackles while Jaylen McRoberts and Preston Dykes each added six tackles.

  • South field hockey romps PRP

    South Oldham field hockey won its fifth straight game with an 11-0 victory over Pleasure Ridge Park (PRP) in Crestwood Sept. 10. Anna Crump scored a team-high four goals while Abby Garrett added two scores for the Lady Dragons in a game that ended at halftime because of a mercy rule.

  • Boys Soccer: Colonels edge...

    Oldham County boys soccer adjusted accordingly to defeat Louisville Male 3-1 in Buckner Sept. 10. Aaron Cook scored two goals and had an assist while Jate Longhurst finished with a goal and assist for Oldham County.
