  • Lady Dragon soccer wins district...

    Disappointment wasn’t going to lead to more defeats.

    After one of the worst seasons in program history last fall, South Oldham girls soccer completed its resurgence with a district title.

  • Haunted Woods Classic results

    With temperatures in the mid-40s and the course still wet from rain the night prior, Oldham County cross country hosted the Haunted Woods Classic Saturday Oct. 13 in Buckner.

    Manual edged past Oldham County to win the 16-team event. Manual had 58 points as four runners placed in the top-13 while Oldham County finished second with 59 points.

  • Colonel soccer wins district...

    The path was different, but Oldham County boys soccer found itself in a familiar place.

    The Colonels won their fourth straight district title with a 2-0 victory over South Oldham Thursday Oct. 11 in Crestwood. Luke O’Hara scored two goals two days after scoring twice in the district semi-finals against North Oldham.

  • Lady Colonel soccer rallies past...

    Elimination was upon them, but Oldham County girls soccer never panicked.

    The Lady Colonels rallied from a two-goal deficit to defeat North Oldham 3-2 in the District 29 semi-finals Monday Oct. 8 in Crestwood. Oldham County assured itself a spot in the Eighth Region tournament and advanced to the District 29 final with the victory.

    Faced with an unfamiliar position, Oldham County boys soccer found its way to victory.

    The Colonels hadn’t played in a district semi-final match since 2014, but the win-or-go-home postseason contest didn’t bother Oldham County. The Colonels defeated North Oldham 4-3 Monday Oct. 8 in Crestwood to advance to the District 29 final.

    A slow start and too-close-for-comfort ending didn’t prevent Oldham County football from earning another district win.

    Despite allowing several long touchdowns, Oldham County defeated Bullitt Central 38-33 Friday Oct. 5 in Shepherdsville.

    South Oldham boys and girls cross country and North Oldham boys cross country competed in the Lexington Catholic Invitational Saturday Oct. 6 at Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington.

  • Mustang soccer rallies by South

    Two goals late in the second half propelled North Oldham boys soccer to a 2-1 win over South Oldham Saturday Sept. 28 in Goshen. Wyatt Smith had a goal and assist while Drake Pyle had the game-winning score for the Mustangs. Nathan Allen had a goal on an assist from Spencer Laws for the Dragons.
