    The Dragons defeated Fern Creek 35-12 Friday, Nov. 16 in Louisville to advance to the state semi-finals in the Class 5-A playoffs.

  • St. X tops Dragon soccer at state

    Saint Xavier of Louisville (St. X) boy soccer took its first step toward defending its state title with a 6-1 victory over South Oldham in the first round of the KHSAA state tournament Tuesday Oct. 23 in Louisville. The Tigers scored three goals in the first half for their 23rd win of the season.

    After winning its first regional title since 2015, South Oldham boys soccer faces Saint Xavier of Louisville (St. X) in the first round of the state tournament Tuesday Oct. 23 at 7 p.m.

    The Tigers (22-2-1) will host South Oldham (8-10-3) for the second time this fall after the Dragons defeated Oldham County in the Eighth Region final last week.

    South Oldham defeated North Bullitt 50-20 Friday Oct. 19 in Crestwood, finishing their district schedule 5-0 for the fourth straight season. South Oldham has won the Class 5-A District 3 seven straight years.
