South Oldham

  • Blair fills role of scorer for Dragons
CRESTWOOD – Eric Blair may be the answer. The South Oldham High School Dragons entered the basketball season with plenty of questions after losing last year’s senior class that led SOHS to the regional finals and a school record 27 wins.
  • Dragons fall to J-town
CRESTWOOD – In an oh-so-close, yet-so-far game the South Oldham High School Dragons came within a hair of upsetting Jeffersontown for the second year in a row before finally falling 64-60 to the No. 2 Chargers Monday. Last year the Dragons upset the Chargers when they were ranked No. 1 in the state and were just two missed three-pointers from doing it again this year.
  • Juniors top 1,000 point mark
CRESTWOOD – The points have always come almost naturally to Nicole Bryant and Jasmine Whitfield, the complete game of both has come with time, experience and hard work. Bryant, a junior guard at North Oldham and Whitfield, a junior guard at South Oldham, both reached the 1,000 career point mark last week.
  • Lady Dragons beat Anderson County
CRESTWOOD - – It may have been the statement game the South Oldham Lady Dragons have been looking to make the past two seasons.
  • Dragons comeback to beat Mustangs
CRESTWOOD – Dylan Bullock picked the right time to listen to his coaches. Bullock, a senior point guard for the South Oldham High School Dragons, stripped North Oldham’s Max Steinfeld of the ball near midcourt and drove down to hit a layup with 1:05 left in the game in a play that turned the tide in the Dragons’ favor for good.
