  • North Oldham Invitational track meet results
     North Oldham Invitational track and field meet was hosted Thursday March 29 in Goshen. Girls Louisville Male won the event with 133 points in the 10-team meet. Oldham County placed second with 114 points. North Oldham was third with 106.5 points and South Oldham was sixth with 46.5 points.
  • Boys Lacrosse: Dragons rout Eastern
    South Oldham boys lacrosse finished its first half of the season with a 14-5 victory over Eastern Wednesday March 28 in Crestwood. Cole Cercone had a game-high five goals while Peyton Stallard finished with three goals and one assist. John Downing had two goals and one assist as seven different Dragons scored.
  • Baseball: Roy tosses no-hitter
    In less than ideal conditions including a steady downpour for most of the game, South Oldham baseball defeated Christian Academy of Louisville (CAL) 1-0 in five innings in the season opener in Crestwood Monday March 19. Dragon starting pitcher Matthew Roy tossed a no-hitter in a game shortened because of rain and unplayable field conditions.
  • Progression continues for Lady Dragons
    Overview Senior-less for the third straight year, South Oldham softball is further along than its ever been under third-year head coach Jim Prather. Prather has taken a young roster and increased the win total in every year as the core group continues to develop.
  • New faces blend with veteran group
    Overview South Oldham baseball returns seven senior starters and 13 players who appeared in varsity games last season. The Dragons are seeking their fifth straight district title. With the departure of its top third of the lineup, South Oldham’s offense will look different this season.
  • Girls Lacrosse: Core group of seniors return for South Oldham
    South Oldham girls lacrosse used the indoor season to experiment and prepare for the spring. The Lady Dragons have a good returning core group according to coach Bob Newton, highlighted by senior Trinity Danielson and University of Louisville signee Bz Janes.
  • Boys Lacrosse: Dragons call upon underclassmen
    After graduating a vaunted senior class in 2017 including Luke Niebrugge and Trevor Chapman, South Oldham boys lacrosse looks to blend a young group of underclassmen with returners following two straight appearances in the state semi-finals.
  • Boys Basketball: South blasts Anderson in regionals
    The Dragons’ big three delivered to send their team to the regional final for the fourth time in six years. South Oldham boys basketball defeated Anderson County 95-53 as Devin Young, Luke Morrison and Peyton Hicks combined for 70 points in the Eighth Region tournament semi-finals. The Dragons led for nearly the entire game and held double-digit in the second half.
  • Boys Basketball: South and Walton-Verona in regionals
    The mastery continues. South Oldham boys basketball entered the Eighth Region tournament losers of four of its past five games, but looked like its familar self in the annual regional tournament hosted at Henry County. 
  • Girls Basketball: Anderson defeats South in regionals
    South Oldham girls basketball season ended with a 80-56 loss to Anderson County in the first round of the Eighth Region tournament Tuesday Feb. 27 hosted at Simon Kenton. Payton Herold had a team-high 23 points while Skylar Sahatjian finished with 17 points for South Oldham. Lexi Bowlden had five points and seven rebounds.
