  • Baseball: Dragons fall in state tournament
    Highlands baseball defeated South Oldham 4-2 in the first round of the KHSAA state tournament hosted at Whitaker Bank Ballpark in Lexington Friday June 8.
  • Baseball: South advances in regionals
    South Oldham baseball had no problem dispatching Carroll County in the first round of the Eighth Region tournament, defeating the District 31 winners 21-7 Monday May 28.
  • Zaubi commits to U of L football
    Former South Oldham quarterback Drew Zaubi has accepted a preferred walk-on spot on the University of Louisville football team, which he announced on Twitter Thursday May 24. The three-year starter passed for 4,699 yards and 65 touchdowns while rushing for 1,134 yards and 24 scores as part of the winningest class in South Oldham history.
  • Boys Lacrosse: South falls in state semi-finals
    After reaching the state semi-finals for the third straight year, South Oldham boys lacrosse fell in the round of four to a Louisville private school power for the third year in a row. Trinity (Louisville) defeated South Oldham 14-3 in the state semi-finals hosted at St. Xavier (Louisville) Wednesday May 16.
  • Baseball: South rolls Butler
    Runs weren't hard to come by for South Oldham baseball as the Dragons defeated Butler 15-2 in five innings Wednesday May 16 in Crestwood. Along with nine hits, South Oldham benefited from seven walks issued by Butler pitchers.
  • Boys Lacrosse: South advances to state semi-finals
    For the third straight year, South Oldham boys lacrosse has a place in the state semi-finals. The Dragons defeated Eastern 15-5 Monday May 14 in Crestwood for a quarterfinal victory in the state tournament. Peyton Stallard had four goals. John Downing finished with two goals and four assists. Grant Prince scored three goals while Ben King added two for South Oldham. 
  • Softball: Eastern tops South
    Eastern (Louisville) softball defeated South Oldham 7-2 Friday May 11 in Crestwood. Anna Taylor went 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Mikayla Benson went 3-for-4 with a double. Hailee Bates pitched seven innings, allowing seven runs on 12 hits while striking out six. After throwing a no-hitter earlier in the week, Bates retired the first six batters she faced against Eastern.
  • Boys Lacrosse: South wins district
    Clinging to a one-goal lead to begin the second half, South Oldham boys lacrosse erupted for 10 goals in the third quarter to defeat North Oldham 16-6 Thursday May 10 to claim its fifth straight District 4 title. Grant Prince had five goals, John Downing scored four and Peyton Stallard had three assists for South Oldham. Seth Wilson scored four goals for North Oldham.
  • Baseball: Price is right in no-hitter
    Pitchers aren’t supposed to be told they’re throwing a no-hitter in between innings in the dugout by their teammates. It didn’t matter for Lincoln Price.
  • Boys Lacrosse: Dragons increase tempo
     As South Oldham boys lacrosse has learned its best style of play, wins have come along with it. The Dragons defeated Ballard 19-4 Friday April 27 in Crestwood for their fifth straight win, and seventh victory in eight games.
