  • North volleyball edges South
    North Oldham volleyball defeated South Oldham in four sets (25-16, 23-25, 25-15, 26-24) for its 12th victory of the season Tuesday Sept. 18 in the Goshen. Addison Foote had a team-high 15 kills, 14 digs and three blocks while Meredith Kovarovic finished with 14 kills, 14 digs and three blocks. Brie Postema had 34 assists for North Oldham.
  • Lady Dragon soccer tops North Oldham
    After two straight years of regular season matches that ended in a shootout, there wasn’t any need for dramatic endings this time around. South Oldham girls soccer extended its winning streak to seven games with a 5-0 victory over North Oldham Wednesday Sept. 19 in Crestwood. It’s the first regular season win over the Lady Mustangs for the South Oldham since 2015.
  • Dragons win Oldham County Golf Cup
    The typically pressure-packed Ryder-Cup styled golf tournament held true to form, but a new victor emerged. South Oldham boys golf won the Oldham County Cup Thursday Sept. 13 for the first time since 2007. With the tournament going down to the final pairing on the final hole, the Dragons finished with 8.5 points while Oldham County had 8 points and North Oldham earning 7.5.
  • Dragon football blasts Boone Co.
    A pair of juniors combined for seven touchdowns as South Oldham football had little trouble with Boone County, dispatching the visitors 56-21 Friday Sept. 14 in Crestwood. Keaton Martin finished with four rushing touchdowns while JT Benson returned two kick offs for touchdowns as the Dragons extended their winning streak to three.
  • Lady Dragon soccer continues winning streak
    South Oldham girls soccer stretched its winning streak to five games with a 6-0 victory over North Bullitt Thursday Sept. 13 in Crestwood. Virginia Goins scored twice while Hannah Longstreet, Clara Spurlock, Alexis Kronenthal and Lizzie Klehr each had a goal.
  • Lady Dragon field hockey tops St. Francis
    South Oldham field hockey improved its record to 10-1 with a 5-0 victory over St. Francis Saturday Sept. 9 in Crestwood. Anna Crump scored two goals while Peyton Koenig, Maya Guinn and Sarah McDowell each scored once for the Lady Dragons. Coach Penny Periard said Crump and midfielder Abby Periard were able to distribute the ball, allowing South Oldham to score.
  • South football routs Mustangs
    Despite a slow start, South Oldham football hit a rhythm with its triple-option attack and rushed for over 350 yards to defeat North Oldham 46-0 Friday Sept. 7 in Crestwood. Five Dragon runners rushed for over 50 yards as South Oldham won its fourth straight game against its intra-county rival.
  • Volleyball: Eastern tops Lady Dragons
     South Oldham volleyball couldn’t extend its winning streak to seven as Eastern defeated the Lady Dragons in four sets (15-25, 25-15, 25-10, 27-25) Tuesday Aug. 28 in Crestwood.
  • South Oldham honors Cy Tucker
    The best part of the night wasn’t when South Oldham named Dragon Stadium’s field after him, to Cy Tucker, a man that’s won seven state championships and 390 games as South Oldham’s girls soccer coach, the best part to him was being able to see the dozens of former players that celebrated with him Monday Aug. 27 in Crestwood.

    South Oldham football may have missed some opportunities against Christian Academy of Louisville (CAL) in the season opener, but the Dragons didn’t miss any chances to make plays against Doss.
