  • Girls Basketball: North Oldham routs Atherton

    North Oldham girls basketball matched its program high for wins in a season with a 55-8 victory over Atherton Saturday, Feb. 2 in Louisville. The Lady Mustangs had the game’s first 32 points and held Atherton scoreless for the opening 11 minutes to improve to 15-7.

  • Girls Basketball: North defeats Trimble

    North Oldham girls basketball earned its first district win of the season with a 58-40 victory over Trimble County Friday, Feb. 1 in Goshen.

    Kelsey Lubker had a team-high 17 points while Riley Neal finished with 14 points and six rebounds. Sophie Hale added 12 points for North Oldham.

    Neither team played its best basketball offensively in the first quarter.

  • Boys Basketball: Shelby outlasts North

    A cold-shooting night prevented North Oldham boys basketball from completing a comeback. 

  • North girls basketball rallies by Shelby

    North Oldham girls basketball rallied late for a 56-54 victory over Shelby County. Riley Neal had the game-winning layup with two seconds left to complete a double-digit comeback for the Lady Mustangs.

    The rally earned North Oldham its seventh win in eight games. 

  • Lady Mustangs romp Collegiate

    North Oldham earned its second road win in less than 24 hours with a 66-35 defeat of Collegiate Saturday, Jan. 5 in Louisville. The Lady Mustangs, winners of six of their last seven games, used their defense to build an early advantage.

  • Valley boys basketball holds off North

    Despite a second-half rally, North Oldham boys basketball couldn’t recover from a poor first quarter, falling to Valley 78-61 Friday, Jan. 4 in Louisville. After falling behind by 18 points in the first half, the Mustangs came within two points in the fourth quarter, but couldn’t complete the comeback attempt.

  • Lady Mustang basketball tops Valley

    North Oldham girls basketball won for the fifth time in six games with a 56-30 victory over Valley Friday, Jan. 4 in Louisville. The Lady Mustangs (8-5) rode dominant first and third quarters, combining to outscored Valley 39-6 in the two periods.

  • PRP basketball tops Mustangs

    Plagued by several scoring droughts, North Oldham boys basketball couldn’t keep pace with Pleasure Ridge Park’s (PRP) perimeter shooting in the final day of the Jean Schumm Operation Parent Classic hosted by South Oldham, falling 70-41 Saturday, Dec. 29. PRP made 10 3-pointers, including eight in the first half, to build a double-digit advantage.

  • Lady Dragon basketball wins Southern Jamboree

    South Oldham girls basketball beat a rival to win Southern’s Holiday Jamboree.

    The Lady Dragons defeated North Oldham 50-37 Friday, Dec. 28 in the tournament’s final. South Oldham held North Oldham to four points in the third quarter and outscored its district opponent by 10 points in the second half. 

  • Mustang basketball tops J'town

    North Oldham boys basketball defeated Jeffersontown (J’town) 67-54 in the first round of the Jean Schumm Operation Parent Classic hosted by South Oldham Thursday, Dec. 27 in Crestwood.

    Dallas Roberts had a team-high 20 points while Tyler Higdon added 17 points for North Oldham. Luke Barry scored 14 points and Grant Adelson finished with 10.
