    North Oldham football hosted Henry County for a preseason scrimmage Friday Aug. 10 in Goshen. The visiting Wildcats defeated North Oldham 35-7, scoring two touchdowns in the final minute to inflate the score.

    North Oldham girls soccer returns nearly all of its roster from last fall’s team that reached the Eighth Region tournament for the first time since 2014. Tiffany Miller takes over as North Oldham’s head coach following two seasons of direction under Jair Trivino. Miller was an assistant coach with Trivino and former head coach Ann Revell.

  • Baseball: North advances in regionals

    North Oldham baseball found a way to keep its season alive.

    The Mustangs defeated Walton-Verona 7-3 in the first round of the Eighth Region tournament hosted at Oldham County Monday May 28.

    North Oldham proved it can take a punch and swing back.

    In a game filled with countless momentum swings, reminiscent of a boxing match with punch and counter-punch, North Oldham baseball rallied to defeat South Oldham 9-8 in the District 29 final, the Mustangs first district tournament title since 2013 and second in school history.

  • Franklins win state championships

    Pole vaulting runs in the family, and now, so does state championships.

    Clay Franklin won the state championship in the pole vault event while Raegan Franklin captured the state title on the girls side at the KHSAA track and field 2-A state meet in Lexington Saturday May 19.

  • Newhouse wins two state titles

    A spring scheduled around reaching the pinnacle on the final day came to fruition.

    Connor Newhouse won state championships in the 100 meter and 200 meter dash at the KHSAA track and field 2-A state meet in Lexington Saturday May 19. The North Oldham junior set schools records in the process of winning his first two state titles.

  • Class 2-A state meet results

    North Oldham competed in the KHSAA track and field Class 2-A state championship meet Saturday May 20 in Lexington. The Mustangs were forced to bear an unusual meet schedule due to inclement weather. The first four events took place Friday May 19 before lighting and heavy rain forced the meet to be completed the following day.
