    Pole vaulting runs in the family, and now, so does state championships.

    Clay Franklin won the state championship in the pole vault event while Raegan Franklin captured the state title on the girls side at the KHSAA track and field 2-A state meet in Lexington Saturday May 19.

  • Newhouse wins two state titles

    A spring scheduled around reaching the pinnacle on the final day came to fruition.

    Connor Newhouse won state championships in the 100 meter and 200 meter dash at the KHSAA track and field 2-A state meet in Lexington Saturday May 19. The North Oldham junior set schools records in the process of winning his first two state titles.

  • Class 2-A state meet results

    North Oldham competed in the KHSAA track and field Class 2-A state championship meet Saturday May 20 in Lexington. The Mustangs were forced to bear an unusual meet schedule due to inclement weather. The first four events took place Friday May 19 before lighting and heavy rain forced the meet to be completed the following day.

  • Class 3-A state meet results

    The KHSAA track and field 3-A state championship meet was hosted in Lexington Saturday May 19. 

    Girls

    Oldham County finished 14th of the 43 teams that had runners place with 17.5 points.

    100 meter dash- Oldham County’s Haedin Goldsmith placed 15th with a time of 12.92.

  • Colonels place at state meet

    Several runners from Oldham County placed in the KHSAA track and field 3-A state championship meet Saturday May 19.

    Jacob Brizendine finished sixth in the 3,200 meter run. Hannah Henage and Savannah Cagle placed seventh and eighth, respectively, in the girls race.

    Josie Despain tied for third in the high jump event.

  • North wins four state championships

    North Oldham track and field won four individual state championships and placed in 13 other events in the Class 2-A state championship in Lexington Saturday May 19. 

    Connor Newhouse set a new school record as he won the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.74. The junior also won the 200 meter dash in 21.86.
