  • OCPD motions to dismiss age discrimination lawsuit

    The Oldham County Police Department is requesting a complaint brought against them alleging age discrimination be dismissed.

    Dennis Clark, 65, worked for the county police department for 22 years and retired in 1995. He alleges the department passed him over for a job because of his age.

  • Sheriff’s department motions to dismiss lawsuit

    The Oldham County Sheriff’s Department is moving to dismiss a complaint filed against them by a former employee alleging the office terminated him without prior cause and denied him a hearing.

  • One shot at Circle K in Centerfield

    Two Oldham County residents were arrested in connection with a shooting and robbery at the Circle K gas station in Centerfield April 11.

    Oldham County Police charged Austin Ransdell, 18, with first-degree robbery, first-degree assault and tampering with physical evidence and Andrew Tetidrick, 19, with first-degree robbery and assault.

  • Man sentenced nearly five years after Goshen murder

    Almost five years after an Oldham County High School graduate’s body was found in a driveway in Oldham County, an Indiana man was sentenced to 45 years in prison for his death.

  • Former OCS bus driver pleads guilty to DUI, endangerment

    A former Oldham County school bus driver, who drove under the influence and crashed her bus with 33 students on board pleaded guilty today.

    Lesley Harvey, 54, was driving bus 0305 with 33 Crestwood Elementary students on board when the crashed occurred just before 3 p.m. Friday, March 15.
