Year in Review: District 7 Magistrate Bob Dye

-A A +A

To the citizens of Oldham County:

As my first year as Magistrate draws to a close, I would like to say thank you to everyone that assisted me in becoming a productive public servant. This past year has flown by!

Other than my duties on fiscal court, I have attended several workshops and conferences. I have learned a great deal, but there is a great deal yet to learn.

Many of you have contacted me, by phone or email. I have spoken with you on the street, in grocery stores and restaurants, and in your homes. I have attended homeowners’ association meetings, local festivals and gatherings. I’ve met with you in your neighborhoods to discuss issues that you felt needed attention.

On Nov. 2, 2010, the 7th District voted for a change.

Through my actions, as their magistrate, that change has occurred. What do YOU, the taxpayer, the homeowner, the business owner think?

I look forward to the next 3 years; although we may not always agree, I will always listen.

There is much work to be done. You can count on me, my fellow magistrates, other elected officials, and Oldham County employees to get the job done.

Have a Happy New Year!
