Speaker event on Teen Usage of Drugs/Alcohol and Treatment

Operation: PARENT will be hosting our Wake Up and Smell the Coffee event titled Teen Usage of Drugs/Alcohol and Treatment and presented by Dina English, MSSW, CSW of Bradford Health Services

Participants will learn about the current alcohol and drug trends of teenagers as well as how to detect signs, symptoms, and actions to take when suspicion is raised regarding their child's behavior. Additionally, a segment of this presentation will focus on parent-hosted parties and their aftermath entitled "Parents who Host Lose the Most”.

BIO: Dina English is a 2008 graduate of the Kent School at the University of Louisville. She received a Masters degree in Social Work with a specialization in Alcohol and Drug Counseling. She has worked with adults and adolescents in the chemical dependency field for 7 years. Dina has three teenagers; Tyler 18, Sydney 16, and Nicole 13. Dina is currently working as the Community Representative for Bradford at the Innerview. Bradford Health Services has been providing excellent alcohol and drug treatment for adults and adolescents for 30+ years across the southeastern United States. We currently have an intensive outpatient facility located on Bardstown road.
