Speaker event on Aggressive Behaviors

Presenter: Tony Sheppard, Psy.D. CGP, FAGPA with Sheppard and Associates Psychological Services

Tuesday, March 19, 2013 : 6:30pm – 8:30pm

 Cost: $10.00 per person

This engaging event will focus on emerging trends in communication among teens and preteens and how these trends impact the age-old problem of bullying and aggression. We will discuss warning signs that a child is being bullied or is bullying others. Parents will be encouraged to discuss and explore ways of maintaining an awareness of how their kids are communicating and how to protect them.  

Dr. Tony L. Sheppard is a clinical psychologist in private practice in Louisville. He provides individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents, and adults through his private practice. Dr. Sheppard supervises clinical staff and graduate students in both Kentucky and Indiana. Group Psychotherapy with Children, a training curriculum authored by Dr. Sheppard, was published in 2008 by the American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA). This organization honored Dr. Sheppard in 2012 by naming him a Fellow (FAGPA). Dr. Sheppard teaches in the School of Professional Psychology at Spalding University and teaches, presents, and lectures at the local, state, and national levels.
