North Oldham boys' soccer skids extends to five games.

Traveling to Bowling Green over the weekend for the Purple Classic, the North Oldham boys' soccer team returned empty-handed after dropping all three of their games.

In game one, the Mustangs played a close 2-1 game with Marshall County but fell narrowly. Colin Burke picked up a goal for the North off an assists from Quinn Foster.

In the second game, the Mustangs' offense found a little more rhythm, pouring in goals from Burke and Sean Williams-Harris, but the defense had a little more trouble containing Bethlehem a the Eagles exploded for five scores before all was said and done.

Things got worse in game three as host Bowllng Green sent North Oldham home with their third loss, a 5-1 decision. Jad Vidich recorded North's only goal of the game off an assist from Ben Stinebruner.

North Oldham returned to the field Tuesday night, welcoming Atherton to Goshen, but the results stayed the same as they dropped a 3-0 game to the Rebels to extend their losing streak to five games.

 Players Matt Dombrosky, J.P. Middleton, Mason Smith, David Cottrell, Blake Benefield missed the games because of injury or suspension.
