Louisville Chorus to perform Sunday at Immaculate Conception

The Louisville Chorus celebrates its 73rd season this weekend at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in La Grange.

The chorus, directed by Daniel Spurlock, will perform "Music for the Christ Child" at 4 p.m. Sunday at the church, 502 N. Fifth St., La Grange.

  • Rachmaninov: "Ave Maria (Op. 37, No. 6, from Vespers)"
  • Schubert/Arr Therese Davis: "Ave Maria (tenor solo and chorus)"
  • Arr Paul Sjolund: "Away in a Manger"
  • Jan Pieters Sweelinck: "Hodie Christus natus Est"
  • Arr Mack Wilberg: "I Saw Three Ships"
  • Arr Arthur Warrell: "Jesus, Jesus, rest Your head"
  • Adolphe Adam: "O Holy Night (soprano solo and chorus)"
  • Allan Robert Petker: "Sing Gloria"
  • Arthur Halbardier: "The Sleep of the Infant Jesus"
  • Arr Dale Wood: "Sussex Carol"
  • Dan Forrest: "Venite, Adoremus"
  • Robert Lau: "We Await the Love You Bring"

Tickets are $18, or $6 for students and $15 for senior citizens.
