Tomorrow is just a day away — and it'll be a big day for youth in St. Francis Goshen's intensive theater camp.

About 20 youth in fifth through eighth grades will produce and perform "Annie" during two public shows Friday and Saturday.

They will also perform scenes from the show during Oldham County Day.

The camp is part of St. Francis Goshen's summer offerings, which include 10 other youth camps and six camps for preschoolers.

The "Annie" camp split into two groups, cast and crew.

Cast members participated in a two-week course to fine tune music, acting and choreography skills.

Crew members spent one week learning how to operate lighting and sound equipment, design and paint sets and produce costumes.

Performances are 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday at St. Francis Goshen. A selection of scenes will be performed at 11:30 a.m. Saturday on the courthouse lawn in La Grange as part of Oldham County Day.
