Former Oldham County High School (OCHS) Choir Director Haley Reed has been indicted on 30 charges.

Reed, 34, was arrested by the Oldham County Sherriff’s Office on June 7, the day before the last day of school.

She admitted to having sex with a minor around eight times between April 25 and June 1 on school property, according to Oldham County Police. All encounters allegedly happened after school hours inside OCHS.

On Sept. 14, an Oldham County grand jury indicted Reed on 10 counts of third-degree rape and five counts of third-degree sodomy.

Reed was also indicted on 15 counts of first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor, illegal sexual act.

The 15-page indictment said that Reed was “in a position of authority or position of special trust” when the charges occurred.

Reed is no longer employed by Oldham County Schools.

Her bond was set at $25,000 but was later amended. Reed bailed out of the Oldham County Detention Center on a $2,500 cash bond in early June.

Attorney Gregory Simms is representing her.

Her arraignment is scheduled for Sept. 27 at 1 p.m. in Oldham County Circuit Court.
