Family Feud host Steve Harvey and his no-holds-barred brand of comedy are back for a new season of America's favorite family competition. And this time, Harvey welcomes a family from Oldham County.

The Hartman family from Crestwood faces off against the Williams family from Dallas for the chance to win up to $100,000 and a brand new car, along with some serious bragging rights.

The show featuring the Hartman family airs at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10 on WDRB (Channel 41).

Ron Hartman, a concrete salesman for Ernst Concrete; Rhonda Hartman, a nurse; daughter, Brittney Hughes, who works for Humana; sister-in-law, Cheryl, also a nurse; and brother-in-law, Greg, a brick salesman – will competefor big prize money plus a brand new car.

Cheryl said the group decided to audition for 'Family Feud' because it would be fun to compete on the show.

“If we win I want to buy a jacked-up golf cart and take the kids to Disney World,” Cheryl said.

Of course, the contestants are tight-lipped about the success – or lack thereof – of their competition.

Earlier this year, the contestants and additional family members traveled to Atlanta for the show, taped in front of a live audience.

Family Feud's new season – the 14th year in national syndication – started on Labor Day.

Families travel from all over the country to compete for big cash prizes on the set of Family Feud, and enjoy a great bonding experience while they’re at it.

When the show is over, fans can connect for news on Twitter (@FamilyFeud) and find outtakes and behind-the- scenes footage on YouTube – www.youtube.com/familyfeud.

To secure their spot on the show, the Hartmans called the Family Feud hotline to begin the process.
