A La Grange man is accused of holding an Amazon delivery driver at gunpoint and then forcing him to rake gravel in his driveway.

Kenneth Vance, 63, was arrested and charged with first-degree unlawful imprisonment and first-degree wanton endangerment May 23.

The Amazon delivery driver made a delivery to a home on Spann Lane in La Grange yesterday. He told Oldham County Police that his "tires spun some in the loose gravel" while he was leaving.

When this happened, Vance allegedly came out of the house, pointed a black pistol at the driver and ordered him out of his vehicle, according to police.

Police say he then demanded the driver to take the keys out of the ignition and remain where he was, while Vance walked back into his house.

“The suspect then returned with a rake and made the victim even out the gravel thrown from the delivery van” according to the citation.

Police recovered several handguns at the scene after a search warrant was conducted.

Vance has since been released from the Oldham County Detention Center. He posted a $2,500 cash bail this afternoon.

He is scheduled to appear in Oldham County District Court May 27.
