In 1995, he took the Lady Dragons to play in the school’s first KHSAA girls soccer championship game. South beat Tates Creek that year to win the title.

This year he took his Lady Dragons to Henry Clay’s Bell Stadium to try for their record seventh state title, but first in 13 years.
