Anna Byerley, Lylia Dorantes, Erika Houchens, Olivia Laws, Haleigh Simmonds and Grace Sterling all started for the Lady Dragons in what could be their final home game of their careers.

    Behind one of its best defensive efforts of the year, North Oldham boys soccer defeated South Oldham 1-0 Thursday in Crestwood. Grey Kinnison scored the game’s only goal on assist by Dylan Smith and the Mustang backline and goalkeeper Henry Hickenlooper were able to protect the lead.

     Oldham County girls soccer guaranteed itself of a spot in the District 29 title game for the third straight year. The Lady Colonels defeated North Oldham 2-1 Monday night in Buckner. Tristan Whalen scored the game-winning goal with 7:13 left in regulation as Oldham County rallied from an early one-goal deficit.

    Behind a defensive effort that forced five turnovers, South Oldham football defeated Oldham County for the seventh straight year. The Dragon defense held the Colonels to a season-low in points as South Oldham claimed a 16-6 victory in Crestwood Friday night.
