  • Winter Sports Preview – Girls...

There’s no overwhelming favorite among District 29’s four girls basketball teams this year.

North Oldham hasn’t previously factored into the race but has built around a veteran core.

Oldham County, defending district champ, returns three starters but must replace Ashley McMurtrey, the second leading scorer in program history.

South Oldham, after not winning the district last year for the first time since 2007-08 has rebooted the program with new coach Jessica Conner.
