    BUCKNER – A 12-run third inning was too much as the Oldham County High School Colonels found their batting eye at the right time rolling past South Oldham 13-2 Monday.
    The win gives the Colonels a 5-0 district record and clinched the No. 1 seed in the upcoming district tournament.

    CRESTWOOD – Kyle Wiedemer’s talents were put  to the test as the South Oldham High School senior took the Pentathlon title at the Christian Academy Invitational April 16.
    “It was the first time anyone from our school had ever competed in it so I hold the school record which is cool,” Wiedemer said.

    The Run for the Roses wouldn’t be complete without a showing from Oldham County. 

    For the second consecutive year, a horse from an Oldham County training facility will break through the starting gate on the First Saturday in May to a crowd of more than 160,000 fans.
