    GOSHEN – The balance in the local boys high school basketball scene will be on display later this summer in the annual Fifth/Sixth Region vs. Seventh/Eighth Region All-Star game at Bellarmine University.

    The game brings together some of the metro area’s best talent including North Oldham’s Dale Tingle, Oldham County’s Eric Dunlap and South Oldham’s Drew Kraemer.

    GOSHEN – Needing to replace quarterback Dylan Grandon and several top receivers, the North Oldham Mustangs stayed true to their bread and butter running attack this summer opting to spend more work on the nuances of the ground game rather than the seven-on-seven passing leagues.

    REDS 10, TWINS 9 - Derek Harris hit a home run and the Reds scored two runs in the top of the sixth inning to score the win.

    Eli Cox had a triple for the Reds. Jake Brizendine, Cameron Rice and Anthony Casey all had doubles for the Reds.

    The Twins got doubles from Jett Kincer, Matthew Duvall and Colton Potter.

    CRESTWOOD – After finishing their best regular season ever, the Kentucky Karma are coming back to their roots for a playoff game.

    The Karma, a Louisville-based women’s football team in the National Women’s Football Association, will host the Pensacola Power at 7 p.m. Saturday at the South Oldham High School Stadium.
