  • BOYS BASKETBALL: Colonels'...

NEW CASTLE - Oldham County’s path through the Region 8 Tournament leading up to the championship game Tuesday night was easy. The Colonels defeated two opponents by a 29 point average and put up over 70 points in each game. Unfortunately for the Colonels, there was a team waiting to change that trend.

Oldham County never could find it’s rhythm against Collins Tuesday night in a 53-42 loss in the Region 8 Final held at Henry County.

North Oldham couldn’t hang on for 32 minutes with the hot-handed Owen County as the Rebels move on to the semifinals with a 67-61 win, ending the Mustangs’ season at 16-16.
