Sometimes saying hello can be just as hard as saying goodbye. Other times though, it can be harder. Still, for all the things that won’t seem to fit into words, one that will is how excited I am to be here.

  • Runners gather for Dream Mile...

The elite Dream Mile event brought together the state’s top runners May 4 at St. Xavier in Louisville.
The Dream Mile features just two races, the mile for both men and women. Students must meet qualifying standards to participate.
Standards are 4:25 in the 1600-meter run or 4:27 in the mile for men; 5:20 in the 1600-meter run or 5:22 in the mile for women.
The race is designed to produce fast times, with a competitive field, quality track and even a pacer for the first two laps.
