South Oldham girls basketball coach Christy Higdon said she knew the time was right to resign.
“I’ve dedicated 26 years of my life to probably over 300 kids,” Higdon said. “...I’m getting ready to turn 50 in July and I think it’s that time to start enjoying life a little more.”
Higdon is stepping down after two years as head coach of the Lady Dragons.
Her teams went 24-31, winning the 2013 District 29 title and finishing as district runner-up this season.
