  • Proposed 2015-18 football...

Oldham County and South Oldham are one step closer to playing in the same football district starting in 2015.

The KHSAA Board of Control approved a draft of the football alignment for the 2015-18 seasons Tuesday.

The draft was configured after schools were given the option of "playing up" a class, or moving down a class if the opportunity was available. Oldham County made such a move, going from 6A to 5A.

The 2015-18 alignment will be presented to the membership before likely being finalized during the Board's May meeting.
