     John Lowrey was pitching a solid game and South Oldham looked to be in control against district and county rival Oldham County.

    Then came the sixth inning.

    Trailing 3-1, the Colonels rallied with four runs in the sixth inning and held on late for the 5-3 win Friday night in Crestwood. Oldham County (10-6, 2-0 District 29) takes the two-game series against the Dragons, who host a doubleheader against Scott County and Lexington Catholic Saturday in Crestwood.

    Erin Parker led the Lady Mustangs (9-8, 3-1 District 29) with a perfect outing at the plate, going 4-for-4 with four runs and three RBIs.

    CRESTWOOD - It was made aware to Colin Danielson on a recent college visit that his position on the South Oldham lacrosse team could no longer be as the co-pilot. He would need to take command when called upon rather than be a bystander watching his team struggle.

    He must have taken it to heart.
