    Kirsten Smith started for Oldham County and allowed three runs in each of the first two innings and two in the fourth before being replaced by Abigail Stewart in the fourth against the state's No. 6 team according to the latest Kentucky Softball Coaches Association Poll.

    Then came the sixth inning.

    Trailing 3-1, the Colonels rallied with four runs in the sixth inning and held on late for the 5-3 win Friday night in Crestwood. Oldham County (10-6, 2-0 District 29) takes the two-game series against the Dragons, who host a doubleheader against Scott County and Lexington Catholic Saturday in Crestwood.
