    South Oldham’s Jordan Pitts is out to make some noise this week coming off his fourth straight Region 8 title.

    Pitts will be the No. 5 seed in the boys singles state tournament. He’ll lead a group of 11 singles or doubles competitors representing North Oldham, Oldham County and South Oldham High Schools and St. Francis.

    GOSHEN — Oldham County dominated the County Track and Field Championships Wednesday at North Oldham.

    The Colonels and Lady Colonels swept the boys and girls titles, with North coming in second and South Oldham in third.

    “I’m really, really excited with how the team’s done,” OC senior Jonathan Stocking said. “We came in here projected to win a lot of these… and we’ve done really well.

    “I’m proud of this team and glad to be a part of it.”

    Oldham County’s girls basketball team will host a camp for girls in grades 1-7 from June 11-13.

    Cost is $40 (half-off for siblings). Instruction will be given by OC coaches and players.
