    GOSHEN — Oldham County dominated the County Track and Field Championships Wednesday at North Oldham.

    The Colonels and Lady Colonels swept the boys and girls titles, with North coming in second and South Oldham in third.

    “I’m really, really excited with how the team’s done,” OC senior Jonathan Stocking said. “We came in here projected to win a lot of these… and we’ve done really well.

    “I’m proud of this team and glad to be a part of it.”

    Oldham County’s girls basketball team will host a camp for girls in grades 1-7 from June 11-13.

    Cost is $40 (half-off for siblings). Instruction will be given by OC coaches and players.

    Parents can pick up a form at OCHS.

  • Mathis strikes out 15 against...

    Working with little margin for error, South Oldham senior left-hander Eddie Mathis was spectacular Monday night.

    Mathis struck out 15 Shelby County batters as the Dragons beat the Rockets 1-0 in Shelbyville.

    The Bellarmine signee allowed Shelby just four hits over seven innings of work.

    Tanner Johnson drove in the only run for the Dragons (16-9), who will play Friday night at Pleasure Ridge Park.
