     SPARTA – Sometimes less is more.

    It worked for Brad Keselowski when he took two right side tires on lap 163 and regained the lead from Erik Jones to cruise to another win at Kentucky Speedway Friday night in the NASCAR Xfinity Series Kentucky 300.

    The win was Keselowski’s fifth overall at Kentucky and third in the Xfinity Series. The Michigan native also won last year's Sprint Cup race at the 1.5-mile bumpy oval and another in 2012.

    The Oldham County track and field team was represented at the New Balance Nationals in Greensboro, North Carolina on June 19. Ally Reinert, Ashley Reyna-Padilla, Melissa Arvidson and Sarah McMurchie entered as the Colonels Track Club and ran in the sprint medley and the distance medley relays. The team clocked in at 4:29.13 in the distance medley in order of Reinert (200), Reyna-Padilla (200), Arvidson (400) and McMurchie (800).
