    CRESTWOOD — South Oldham senior Victoria Faulk signed a National Letter of Intent to play soccer at Murray State on Wednesday.

    The Lady Dragons' top forward from 2015 led the team with 19 goals and was named All-District 29 and First-Team All-Region 8.

    Murray State won the Ohio Valley Conference tournament championship last season for the first time since 2009 with an overtime goal to defeat Southeast Missouri.

    The room is quiet at the time, but two minutes prior, he had just walked out of a pep rally where the entire Oldham County High School student body celebrated a feat that hadn’t been accomplished in over 20 years: a team state championship.

    “I think we can dethrone them this year,” South Oldham senior Max Houston said. “I feel we have a good chance.”
