    It's said anything can happen in a rivalry game, and it did on Friday night as Oldham County made history with its first win over North Oldham in series history. The Colonels scored two touchdowns in the first half and held off a rally by the Mustangs for a 14-6 win, seemingly an upset for a team that went 1-9 and fell to North Oldham 45-6 last season.

    The conditions couldn’t have been much worse on a hot and humid Saturday morning for the annual St. Xavier’s Tiger Run at Louisville Champions Park, but two South Oldham runners finished in the top 10 of the girls 5k race that had over 200 contestants.

On Saturday, after combining for an 0-4 record against the two teams in 2014 and 2015, 10th-ranked Louisville showed it belonged in the national spotlight after a 63-20 win over second-ranked Florida State.
