It is a group that seldom receives attention for its performances on Friday nights, but it was the first unit South Oldham quarterback Drew Zaubi gave credit to following a 41-7 win over North Oldham. The Dragon offensive line pushed and paved the way for an impressive offensive output against their inter-county rival.

Early on in the season, South Oldham girls soccer focused on finding the final piece of the puzzle by scoring goals. The Lady Dragons (3-5-2) have been able to put the ball in the back of the net this year, but still haven’t put everything together. 

After defeating Anderson County 31-14 in its season opener, South Oldham hit the road and picked up their second win of the year against Doss last Friday. 

With a steady downpour for most of the first half, Friday didn’t exactly have ideal conditions for junior quarterback Drew Zaubi to throw the ball, so South Oldham relied on its rushing attack to lead the team to a 31-14 win over Anderson County, the same Anderson County that South Oldham had lost to nine of its previous 10 tries.
