  • North Oldham volleyball wins Eighth Region

North Oldham volleyball won their third consecutive Eighth Region title, but the final match against Oldham County was anything but easy. • Kicker Jakson Wine recruited by U of L

North Oldham’s Jakson Wine took an unofficial visit to the University of Louisville over the weekend. The senior is ranked by Prokicker as the nation’s top kickoff specialist and fourth-best placekicker in the country.

  • North boys soccer wins Region Eight

The third time was the charm for the North Oldham boys soccer team. After losing to Oldham County in the regular season and District 29 tournament, the Mustangs defeated the Colonels 4-0 in the Region Eight final to advance to the state tournament.

  • Three seniors lead Lady Mustangs

A new head coach, the loss of four seniors, two of which were All-State performers, and three freshman in the starting lineup might not seem to be a formula for success, but North Oldham volleyball hasn’t missed a beat from last year’s team that reached the state tournament.
