Having my childhood and early adult life pretty evenly split between Indiana and Tennessee, I find that my allegiance is often torn. There are so many things I love about the Hoosier State; the first signs of spring after a long, hard winter, pork tenderloin sandwiches bigger than the hog they came from, and some of the kindest, most friendly people you could ever hope to meet.
Jessica Minto of Goshen was recently initiated into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines. Minto was initiated at Duquesne University.
Aaron Kirtland, a junior at the Gatton Academy of Mathematics and Sciences at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, has been selected to be among 1,000 attendees at West Point’s prestigious Summer Leaders Experience (SLE) in June.
