Thirty Oldham County Schools students have been selected for the Kentucky Governor's Scholars Program class of 2016. Six Oldham County Schools students and five alternates have been selected for the 2016 Kentucky Center Governor’s School for the Arts.
The Oldham County Schools Arts Center will produce the comic thriller “The Hound of the Baskervilles” with its all youth cast from ages 10 through 18 on April 21, 22 and 23 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for students and children and may be purchased in advance or at the door. The Craft Academy for Excellence in Science and Mathematics at Morehead State University has selected 60 students for its Class of 2018, including Sierra Hauck, daughter of Charles and Jennifer Hauck, from Oldham County High School.
