Crestwood resident Ada Pariser is among the 18 University of Dayton honors students selected to participate in the D.C. Flyers internship program this summer. Pariser will be working with the National Rural Health Association.
The Morris Industries Foundation recently presented awards from the Lewis Sexton Scholarship Fund. Three Kentucky high school graduating seniors, including one from South Oldham High School, received $5,000 college scholarships.
One Oldham County student will find it a little easier to pay for college this fall thanks to a scholarship from local McDonald’s Restaurants of Kentuckiana owner/operators and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana (RMHCK).
Bringing the spirit of the past alive is one of the things the Oldham County History Center is best known for. The first weekend in June will showcase the 18th century, a time when Kentucky was still a county of the state of Virginia.
