Oldham Tourism Commission to meet third Monday
Oldham KY Tourist Commission meetings are held the third Monday of each month at 4:30 p.m. at the Oldham KY Tourism office, 7204 Highway 329, #101 in Crestwood.
For the second year in a row, an Oldham County resident has taken home the crown as the Kentucky Derby Festival Queen.
A planned realignment on Kentucky 393 will eventually allow cars to pass under railroad tracks.
The 393 realignment will widen the road to two lanes from the Interstate 71 on-ramp to Wendell Moore Park.
Grace Bauer and Trivan Menezes, both of Oldham County High School, have been selected for The Gatton Academy of Mathematics and Science in Kentucky Class of 2019.
Even during spring break, there are still students at Locust Grove Elementary.
“They don’t want to miss school,” Michelle Massey, a parent of two Locust Grove children, said. “It’s fun to learn.”
Sullivan announces graduates
Sullivan College of Technology and Design (SCTD) is proud to announce its spring graduates.
Oldham County Fiscal Court approved several major road projects on April 4.
In May 2016, 17 Oldham County Master Gardeners passed their exams and began volunteering throughout the community.
Paula State, of Crestwood, spearheaded a gardening project in the courtyard of Friendship Health and Rehab in Pewee Valley.
The South Oldham Fire Auxiliary will host the third annual South Oldham Fire Run, benefitting the WHAS Crusade for Children, Resources for Our Emergency Service Team (REST) and South Oldham Fire Auxiliary on Sunday, May 28, at 7 p.m.
