North Oldham finished fifth in the Mitchell F. Irvin Classic, falling to Dixie Heights before defeating Kentucky Country Day and Atherton. Senior guard Jalen Henry returned to play over winter break, adding to the Mustangs’ depth, athleticism and pace of play.
South Oldham High School cheerleaders provided fun-filled stockings for each child/teenager in the Good News Homes program. South Oldham High School PTA also organized a toiletry drive for residents of Good News Homes.
Oldham County Animal Control is the regulatory agency responsible for all lost and found animals. The County Animal Shelter staff keep an extensive log of all missing animals and try to match them with reported found animals and strays at large.
The La Grange Rotary Club, with the support of the South Oldham and Prospect/Goshen Rotary Clubs, is sponsoring a $10,000 raffle to raise money for scholarships, as well as local and international service projects.
