The third time was the charm for the North Oldham boys soccer team. After losing to Oldham County in the regular season and District 29 tournament, the Mustangs defeated the Colonels 4-0 in the Region Eight final to advance to the state tournament.
A new head coach, the loss of four seniors, two of which were All-State performers, and three freshman in the starting lineup might not seem to be a formula for success, but North Oldham volleyball hasn’t missed a beat from last year’s team that reached the state tournament.
It was a successful night of soccer for all four teams in Oldham County competing in the first round of the Region Eight tournament. The Oldham County High School boys and girls team, North Oldham boys and South Oldham girls all won to advance to the regional semi-final games on Tuesday night.

Both Oldham County's boys and girls teams had a bye because of wins in the regular season and won the tournament on Wednesday night.

For the first time in program history, South Oldham football is 7-0. The undefeated Dragons were tested early by host Bullitt East on Friday night, but South Oldham pulled away with a 52-27 victory due to another superb performance by running back Keaton Martin.
