Morehead State University’s Space Science Center, in collaboration with the American Association of University Women (AAUW), conducted its fifth SpaceTrek camp for girls entering their sophomore, junior or senior year of high school July 9 through 16 at the Space Science Center.
This summer, The Kentucky Center hosted more than 250 artists from every region of the Commonwealth, as The Kentucky Center Governor’s School for the Arts (GSA) took place at Danville’s Centre College from June 19 to July 9.
Margaret Ann Grogan of La Grange graduated from Samford University during recent commencement exercises. Grogan earned a Bachelor of Science Fellow summa cum laude from Howard College of Arts and Sciences.

Tavia Cathcart Brown is the executive director of Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve in Goshen where she has established a two-acre Woodland Garden that highlights native wildflowers and ferns, recently presented at the Louisville Audubon Society and Beckham Bird Club.
