Four 2016 Furman University graduates have received Fulbright U.S. Student Program grants from the U.S. Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board, including Elias Eells of Crestwood.
The Hope, Health and Hometown 5K/1 Mile event had a great turnout for its inaugural year. There were over 200 participants who either ran or walked. In addition, the event included a health fair and a Kids Zone. Monies raised benefitted Hope Health Clinic.
We have all been injured emotionally at one time or another, in one way of another – hurt by family, friends, business colleagues, news media, politicians or whatever – and the bitter urge to strike back becomes our first reaction.
