    Thank God for Donald Trump!
He is the most qualified person to be the president of the United States because he has not held an elected position before where he had to accept the money of certain interests to pay back by doing their bidding later on!

  • Tournament is a big hit

Last week, North Oldham Little League hosted the Kentucky Little League Baseball State Tournament at Walsh Park in La Grange. 22 teams came from different areas of Kentucky and two from North Oldham Little League participated and competed for the state championships. Congratulations to our own 11-Year-Olds for winning the state championship.
Every team and their fans from all over Kentucky got to experience what great facilities, the concession stand food and the great atmosphere at Walsh Park in La Grange that North Oldham Little League gets to experience everyday.

  • Time to defund Planned Parenthood

Warning: graphic content and conversation here. No, this isn’t about Donald Trump’s latest insults, but rather a more serious subject that he doesn’t consider “one of his issues.” I’m talking about the sanctity of human life. More specifically, the undercover videos that caught Planned Parenthood officials discussing abortion extraction methods best suited to preserving in-demand fetal organs for research.

    Religious Freedom
I read with interest Mr. DiGiuro’s article on religious freedom in the April 23rd edition.   He dealt with an extremely relevant topic, but left out some important aspects inherent in a well-rounded view of this topic.  If Oldham Countians are to maintain their religious freedom, they must keep in mind a few of the issues our Founding Fathers understood when they penned the First Amendment.

    Chamber petition postcards
As you know the Oldham County Chamber of Commerce initiated a drive seeking enough signatures to request that Oldham County Fiscal Court facilitate a special election on alcohol sales in Oldham County.
A reader expressed concern about the information that is requested on the postcard petition, and I hope this letter helps to explain the procedure.
The Board of Elections, the County Clerk and the Alcohol Beverage Control administration requires that this process adhere to a number of conditions. Some of them are:

    Chance’s Chance

In your paper you have had a couple of articles on Chance, the husky. I am the lucky person who got the incredible opportunity of bringing him into his new forever home. He is a remarkable dog and is doing great. If you did not know his story, you would never know that he is blind. As I write this letter, he is asleep at my feet.
